California Crosspoint Academy (CCA) is a fully accredited middle school and high school with an excellent academic track record making us one of the top schools in the nation. Contact us today to learn more about this award winning private school! California Crosspoint Academy was established in 1979 as Chinese Christian Schools, an educational ministry of Bay Area Chinese Bible Church. Operating out of two small apartments in Oakland, CCA has grown and emerged today as an award winning, top private school in the Bay Area.
We welcome students of any faith tradition, race, or ethnicity who value learning and are ready for a challenging middle school and high school experience. Our small private school, located in a beautiful, modern building allows us to maintain both a highly supportive academic environment and a nurturing family atmosphere. Students come from Fremont, Hayward, Oakland and the surrounding cities to become part of this award winning school community. Although we’re known for excellence in academics, our menu of extracurricular activities gives our students abundant opportunities to become well-rounded, productive and caring citizens.
- Our Christian faith and values provide the foundation for our approach to students and learning. Each student is unique, and while we encourage them to excel academically, we seek to help them discover their God given interests and passions. In this way, they can realize God’s plan for their life. We are led by our vision, core values and faith.
- At California Crosspoint Academy, we take learning very seriously—and our academic record shows it. A full 99% of our graduates have gone on to college, with the rest entering the military. CCA regularly has students named as National Merit Scholars, which puts them in the top 1/2 percent of eligible students nationally. CCA has also been awarded twice the U.S. Department of Education’s Blue Ribbon School of Excellence award, the highest educational honor in the nation, in 2003 & 2016.

With 150,000 residents, today the City of Hayward is the sixth-largest city in the Bay Area and a thriving regional center of commerce, manufacturing activity and trade. Known as the "Heart of the Bay," Hayward has capitalized on its unparalleled location to become one of the most desirable business locations for companies in advanced industries.
The City continues to plan for the future, maintaining a balance between the needs of our diverse residents and a growing business community. The City works hard to balance the needs of our growing population with the preservation of open space and an aggressive economic development strategy.
A perfect day in Hayward takes you from the hills to the shoreline with innumerable delights in between:
Start your day with a ridgeline hike at sunrise with 360 degree views of the entire Bay Area. Challenge yourself at one of three quality golf courses showcasing the region’s unique topography. Enjoy an early dinner at one of the United States’ first brewpubs, then walk a few steps for a different kind of Zen meditation in California’s oldest Japanese garden. Wend your way back through a historic downtown with buildings that trace their roots back to the 1860s, then spend the twilight strolling along the pristine shoreline, surrounded by native wildlife as the sun dips below the San Francisco skyline on the horizon.
